Living In Fear

Since I've started this journey, I've learned a lot from all of you. And one of the main things I've learned is that I never want to be too tight! I've been really conservative with fills, and I have to be absolutely SURE I need one before I make an appointment...and then once I do, I obsess about it and worry that this one will make me too tight (even though my clinic is awesome and they totally listen to what you tell them and give teeny fills). Right now, I know I need one. I'm taking my one cup of food to work, and because I now have set eating times, I know for certain that I'm not getting anywhere near 4 hours before I'm hungry. Sometimes I'm as little as 2.5 hours before my tummy is growling. Also, I never get stuck, or even uncomfortable...so I'm pretty sure I'm safe from the dreaded 'too-tights'. And still...I worry. Tomorrow I'm doing some cooking ahead, so I'm good for the week. Lots of organic protein and veggies (I'm growing kale in my garden and it's ready!! Kale salad for me this week!) My fill is set for Tuesday, and it's going to set me up. I want to be down 20 lbs for the weddings I have in October. That's my plan! Wish me luck!

  1. You'll be fine!!! You just need a little tinsy tiny bit to make you virgin tight again - than you will be watching those numbers go down. 20lbs by October totally doable - maybe you should come over for wii dance party 3/ swim spa nights. I'll get on board in September for 1 night a week if we can find something in between both of us? Ballroom dancing? you can lead!

  3. Virgin tight! I may never stop giggling about that.

You have a cunning plan and good communication with your clinic will see you right.

  4. Your plan is solid. I don't feel like I'm one of those people always chasing restriction, but it took me so long to get it. Once I was there I've been good for 2 years. I think being in a place where the band helps keep you full, but you aren't limited in what you eat is the way to go.
I know you can reach your 20 pounds by October!

  6. This is why I havent gotten a fill lately, even though i know I could use one. The last 2 fills I got ended up in unfills...but it would seem like I do need an agressive fill bc I can suck down a sandwich in pretty good time...bread and all. So I dont know. i was thinking about possibly scheduling a fill as I was driving into work. Blah. I dont know.
