I know I feel great after exercising. I know it's good for me! I know it will make me stronger and increase my endurance for the fun stuff...if you know what I'm sayin' and I think that you do *wink*. There have even been times in my life where I've actually been...dare I say it...addicted to exercise! (gasp!!) So why is THAT addiction so easy to overcome?? Huh? I mean seriously...if reality TV ever needs the Dr. Drew of how to overcome your addiction to exercise, I'm so their girl! I will cure EVERYBODY! There will be tears, and relaxation, and naps, and couching, internet surfing and catching up on every TV show anybody ever said something positive about EVER! I could be the Jillian Michaels of teaching everybody to be a lazy butthole, making people cry and throw up delicious snacks to make room for more delicious snacks. I would be super famous!
Stupid, effed up Universe.
Can I just say DITTO :o)
ReplyDeleteDon't be mad at me.....but.....maybe you haven't found the right exercise....the one that takes you THERE!!
ReplyDeleteFor me that would be swimming. It takes gravity off of me and takes me to such a beautiful place.......
Just saying!
XO
Oh PS....I love the same things you do Mmmmmmmmmmmm ;-)
Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is too funny. Well I for one am NOT addicted to exercise. I never will be. However, I'm going t osuck it up and do it, because I want to lose this weight. I NEED to lose this weight. Heck is it mandatory that I lose this weight.
ReplyDeleteNow don't get me wrong. I love all the things you do...I just wished I love dexercise more. it is so easy for me to take a day or a week hell even a month off. LOL
I would so be your co-Dr. Drew in teaching people to be lazy.
Maybe Darlin1 has a point. Maybe WE haven't found that one exercise that we crave like we crave hot wings. I wonder if such an exercise truly exist...well besides sex.
I read something interesting today that a WW success story said. Why don't we require exercise and eating well like we require ourselves to get up, go to work, take care of our families, sleep? We manage to get to work every day - never ever asking why or how or skipping it for days or weeks in a row because we fear the consequences....working out should be like that.
ReplyDeleteNow if only I could get my mind to think that way.
Please download couch to 5 k. For me. Please.
ReplyDeleteI can't tell you how many times I have thought this. Glad to know I'm not the only one . I wish I could love exercise but I mostly loathe it. I will admit after walking daily for about 7 months I finally got to the point where I *almost* enjoyed it once I got involved in some audio books. But like someone above said maybe it takes finding the right exercise. I'm going to be trying swimming next. Let's hope I end up loving it as much as Darlin1
ReplyDeleteYou DEFINITELY cannot leave out hot wings. They're an important staple in anyone's diet.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if you'd consider letting me co-host the anti-exercise addiction TV show with you? lol
Love you -- you are hilarious! "Dr. Drew, I'd like to thank you -- and my fans-- for having me on today to talk about my new book, 5K to Couch." :) Hee hee (but seriously, get it into the gym, you naughty minx!)!
ReplyDeleteIt's so weird how we exercise and always say we loved it and feel so good, yet I always find an excuse not to do it. Funny that I never find reasons to talk myself out of eating chocolate on the couch...
