Where Have I Been?

It has been brought to my attention that I haven't done a blog in a while...and so, without further ado, I bring you my first "Thousand Word Thursday" (which is gonna come in WAY under a thousand words...don't kick me out of the club!)

My favourite decoration isn't something that lives inside my house...and it's not something that is even out all year round. It's a Halloween blow up that I usually put up right around my birthday (end of Sept) and keep up for the month of October (I am the crazy Halloween person who puts my Halloween decorations out WAY first...I like to think the rest of the neighbourhood follows my lead). He's a ghost, although it has been said that he looks more like a sperm - you be the judge. In the picture above, he's wearing my bra (kind of a hard night of partying the night before...thanks to my neighbour for this. Last time I loan HER one of my bras!) His tummy is a globe, and in it, there's a black cat, and a bunch of bats that blow around in there...and all the little kids stop on their way to school to look at him. I love looking out my living room window and seeing a little puddin' on their way to school getting all excited about the crazy bats flying around in there! He's not usually wearing the bra, by the way. You got that part, right?

For Sandy: you can kind of make out the bats there in the back.

In weight loss related news: without much fanfare, I passed my WW lowest recorded weight. So, to me, that means that right now, I am in fresh weight loss territory. Definitely the lowest weight of my 30's. Yet still not quite at 100 down. I've noticed that I seem to sort of stall about every 30ish pounds. I figure my body is just re-distributing the leftovers. I wish it re-distribute more back to my boobs. Sheesh!

One last thing: tomorrow is my youngest's first day of Jr. Kindergarten. Every morning from 9-11:30, I will be child free. I have no idea what I'm going to do with myself. Sadly, it will probably be something super exciting like laundry or washing the floors. Yes...you can touch me...I'm real. *sigh*

That's my story.

  5. The bra doesn't go with that tie. You still have much to learn.

  6. I agree with Joey. You can now spend your free morning hours colour co-ordinating a wardrobe for the ghost. I see the sperm too. But I really wanted to see the bats.

  7. LOL I love the sperm ghost! But I think he'd look better in black lace... The pink just doesn't suit him!

WTG on the new territory, how exciting!

This is very exciting for me! Anyway, I have a blog at www.lauragetsfit.com if you'd like to check it out. I look forward to reading more of your weight loss journey. Take care! <3 Laura

  11. That is the cool part about putting up decorations - watching all the kids looking at them. Well of course you'll be blogging in your free tim. :)
