A New Low!

Well Sisterhood of the Band, you have, once again, come to my rescue!  The "eat more" plan has worked!!  Stepped on the scale this morning and saw a 3lb loss!  Praise Jeebus!

And so I say to you, Sisters...if you are stuck, and you are religiously eating 700-1000 calories a day, and you are walking around starving but terrified to put another bite of anything in your mouth for fear of going over your calories: EAT!!!  Have something yummy!  Throw caution to the wind for a few days and eat when your body says it's hungry!  Which, I am learning is very different from when it says "well...I could eat..."

Oh...this is good day!

  3. Excellent. I'm still stagnating and am trying the eat more to lose. Hopefully next week. The nutritionist from SWLC just e-mailed so may do a visit with her when the weather gets nicer. I go to a Weight Management clinic here in Ottawa already. You're doing great. Glad all is falling into place (or off your bod!). Guess the last fill is working for you.

  5. Just noticed that your little avatar (under followers) now shows your pic and says Gilly. Guess you changed your shadow avatar with your full name. Won't mention that one. When you click on it though it doesn't have the link to your blog so you might want to add that. You need to click on the avatar on someone's blog and then you get to edit it. I think. Maybe there is another way, but Google makes it sooo hard to figure out.

  6. Back when i was doing Weight Watchers last year, I heard the same thing...You need to eat in order to lose weight. I always thought it was a little counter-productive, but your body begins to go into starvation mode if you are not eating enough and holds onto everything. It runes out when I added about an extra 100-200 calories a day, I would have a good loss that week. go figure! I'm happy to hear of your loss. You are doing awesome!

  7. I found the same thing to be true as well. Started eating more and lost weight. Isn't it great when the scale moves in the right direction? Great loss btw.
