This evening is the first school council meeting of the year. And afterwards, some of the ladies and I always go for a beer, and often wings. Always. But since I'm only 8 days post-surgery, I won't be able to have anything. Maybe a bowl of soup if it's not a chunky one, but that's it. Very out of character for me, so I'm hoping I'll just be able to pass it off as "being good" if the mommies who don't know about Mona are joining in.

Yes, it can be tough trying to eat good while out with others that are unaware of Mona! Especially since you are so soon after Surgery! Have a great time.
ReplyDeleteThey had potato leek soup and it was nice and smooth, so i ordered a cup of that. It was SOOOO yummy!! The girls had fries, and the ones who don't know weren't there, so it was a really nice evening!

ReplyDeleteHi Gilly-my doc who will do the fills here told me that SWLC puts the port between the boobs so maybe that hole is where the port is. Guess you'll have to wait for a fill. If I am aware before they knock me out, I will ask.
ReplyDeleteHmmm..maybe. I kinda thought the port would be under the big incision. I guess I'll find out when I go for my first fill. Which I can't wait for because I'm getting hungry!!
ReplyDeleteHey there...I went for my first follow up appointment and they told me that it was about 1 1/2 inches to the right of the large inscision.....I get my 1st fill in 2 weeks so i'll let you know
