About Chicago

Well ladies...it's official...you are making me crazy(er).  Because I am broke, I was declining to talk about or think about the fun you'll all be having in Chicago this fall.  Without me.  However, I have discussed it with the hubs, and also with my mum, who knows everything, and they think it would be cool if I were to drive to the Windy City.  So...now the only problem is that it's basically happening over the weekend of my big 4-0.  Which could be the best way ever to spend that milestone.  But I have a feeling that there are plans afoot 'round these here parts for some heavy duty celebratin'. (When did I go Wild Wild West??  I dunno!)  Anyhoo...that leaves me as a definite maybe for going.  If I were on a fence, I would be leaning toward the side that, if I fell off, my ass would land in Chicago.

That's my story.

  6. If you are passing through Michigan maybe you could connect with those of us here that are going. I sent a message to Grace who is also from Michigan about seeing if we can get a list of people and organize some trasportation. I was kinda thinking of taking the train from maybe the Ann Arbor or Lansing area so that I didn't have to park my car there. 40 bucks a day for parking takes away from my spending money :) Hope to see you there!!

  10. For real the day before the convention is our 15th wedding anniversary. Not as big of a deal as the big 4-0, for sure. Maybe you can find out which day and make it to Chicago for at least 1 day?
