...if she even knows who you are! So last night, chatting away with Amy W. and we're a good 10 minutes into chatting...and as always, Amy is just darling, talking about where we live, and she's inviting me to come visit her in Florida, blah blah blah. Then she asks me what I do for a living, which is a little strange, I think, because she's mentioned her disbelief that I could be an undertaker, and also, people don't usually forget what I do for a living, but I figure Amy just has a lot going on, so I reply:
Gilly: I'm a funeral director.
Amy: REALLY?? Have you ever talked to Gilly?? SHE'S a funeral director too!!
Gilly: Um...doofus...this IS Gilly!!
Now, in Amy's defense, my name doesn't come up in the little chat box, because I dunno...I'm paranoid about someone finding my blog and outing me to the non-band world. But really, what I'm trying to say here is that Amy is a chat whore! She doesn't know who you are...but she will invite you to her house and promise you her first born!
Needless to say, I laughed until tears were streaming down my chubby cheeks. I also mocked her quite a bit. So, long story short, if you're talking to Amy, before you get into the nitty gritty, make sure she knows who the hell you are.
The theme for this week: I really need to get moving. I had a horrifying weekend, foodwise. Who knew bacon was so ridiculously high in calories?? I really need to start checking these things BEFORE I hoover down 6 pieces of it! And yes, I know that bacon isn't exactly a diet food, but really...it's WAY more fattening then even I could have dreamed. And when it's cooked extra crisp, it practically evaporates on your tongue! I mean come ON! How can that count??
The fill I got on Tuesday seems to have actually had the opposite effect in terms of how much I can eat and how hungry I am. Which totally sucks since I don't have another one until mid-May. So...today I will go swimming, and as soon as I'm done here, I am going to go see if I am too fat for the Wii Fit.
*UPDATE: I am NOT too fat for Wii Fit, as I had assumed I would be! HA HA!! Also, WOO!*

Ahhh, bacon....who can resist it? Like Jim Gaffigan says, "It's the perfect food, when other foods aren't good enough, we wrap them in bacon!" Don't beat yourself up about the bacon.

That girl has too many fans - she's like a magnet, she attracts people to her sunny personality.
