Wow, it has 37 grams of protein. So I think it could fit into the high protein group. BUT, the fat-OMG. And the salt! Heart Attack on a plate-and that is without the large fries and sugary drink. And we had this great discussion as to why we are fat. There it is, in the pic.
Good for you for holding your ground and not being tempted. Also, I'm glad you gave your boys a big hug.
The commercial for this was just on TV and I was thinking about how long it had been since I'd had a hamburger. I'm just going to continue to stay away.
I'm drooling. Is that bad? :( And I don't have a band, so I could eat that bad boy no problem. I'll let you guys know if it's worth it. Just kidding. Sort of.
OMG...that is one of the things that makes me lick my tv screen when the dang commercial comes on!! My bf had it and said that it looks a hell of a lot better than it tastes :-) And after seeing the nut. info. I am totally turned off! :-)
That's just wrong! Hopefully I will have an aversion to this crap for the rest of my life. Pre-band I would have sucked that baby down in 5 minutes along with a Biggie Fry & a Frosty - no more though!!!
If you aren't concerned about fat and salt, eating 1/4 of it (and THROWING the rest away) would only be 170 calories. Half would only be 340 calories. The band will make 1/4 feel like 4/4's... and that's why I love it. The bread could be problematic, and I usually choose to discard it, even though I can usually get it down just fine. I'm so happy there aren't any foods I can't have. You know that's what a French woman would do... :)
That is true! I read that book about French women! However, at this time, with the amount of restricion I currently have, I could snarf that whole puppy down, I'm pretty confident. Bun and all. So I will tenderly caress my computer screen and then move on with my life. lol!
Sure is nice to look at though :)
ReplyDeleteholy crap!!! I would love to try it, but so not worth it!
ReplyDeleteMan, am I a convert! Just looking at it makes me feel ill! Then I see the 'nutrition' info. YIKES!

ReplyDeleteOMG I'm on my pre-op diet and this damn cheeseburger looks so0o0o0o0o0 goo0o0o0o0o0o0d! Dro0o0o0o0o0L....
ReplyDeleteThat burger looks gross to me, weird.
ReplyDeleteAlso: I find it hard to believe it is ONLY 680 calories... alot of the times, the nutritional amounts are off !!
Whatever: I literally fear burger buns-- unless I get a complete unfill, that part of my life is OVER.
:-)
I've been craving something like that for the last few days, but it just isn't worth it in the long run! But damn, it's nice to look at it and drool!

ReplyDeleteGotcha. Don't risk it if you know you can't handle it. In that case, I'd do the same thing.
