Lap Band Gal posted this the other day about reasons we chose to get banded/get healthy...and I thought it was cool...and soooo...I did it too!
These are just the three off-the-top-of-my-head reasons I thought of...I figured since they were right of the top of my crazy head, then they must be pretty important ones, but they are, I assure you, merely the tippiest tip of my fat-girl iceberg!
So here, in no particular order, they are:

ReplyDeleteI've been able to cross several of mine off and it feels so good!!! One of my big ones is similar to your lawn chair one. I want to be able to sit in an outdoor cafe and not be worried about whether or not my ass will fit in the space they provide. I once had a terribly embarrassing moment at this one place where this guy actually said out loud in English (we were in Denmark), "Oh wow, that is just ridiculous." Or something along those lines. I cried for days and haven't sat in an outdoor cafe chair since.
Looking so skinny in that last pic I am jealous!!!

ReplyDeleteLove all your reasons and have to agree with all of them. Lawn chairs...uh, not a fat girl's friend! I have nightmares about falling on my big butt after busting through a chair! I love roller coasters but there is no way that I would be able to get my big butt or belly into the seat or the safety harness on. Great idea...I may do the same! Thanks for the post!
